of values

Values
provide stability in group interaction this, means that they hold society
together because they share a common things together.

brings legitimacy to the rules that govern specific activities in this case
rules are accepted and followed strictly since it is found in the value

help to bring about some kind of adjustment between different sets of rules for
instance husband and wife sees themselves as one united in love and that is why
the stay together sharing common idea for peace to reign.

Moral values: every society
has different values which mostly are related to religion and different situation
of society e.g. respect to the elders, do not steal, don’t tell lies etc. in
this case society does not allow the violation of any of these things mentioned
above.

Rational values: This type of
value is scientific and logical in nature. For example hard working is regarded
as rational value of modern society

Aesthetic values:
this
type is related to literature, art, culture, music etc. for instance in India
white in colour are the signs of beautiful women in that place.
We also have two categories of values
1. Dominant value:
this type of value has strong impact in mind of a person and for one to violate
this type of value becomes impossible because it has dominated the mind of the
person.
2. Variant value:
in this type of value one has freedom to behave according to his desires and
choices.
